Social Media/Marketing Assistant (Part-Time, 1099 Contractor)

Hours: 7-8 hours/week

The Role & Expectations: This position involves coordinating the week’s social media calendar alongside myself and our graphic artist (Kristen Creager)and Producer Ingrid Ann. You will ensure every new podcast episode has a strong online presence and handle the scheduling and publishing of social media across platforms. You will also be responsible for gathering listener feedback —Patreon, Spotify, YouTube, social media replies (Facebook, Insta, TikTok) —and keeping MP posted. An example is "hey MP - you need to go over to YouTube and check this comment" or "hey MP- there is something on Spotify you need to answer personally".

The Dream social media collaborator has:

• Prior social media management and/or digital marketing experience (preferred).

• Familiarity with Canva, social media schedulers (such as Sprout), Meta (Facebook/IG), YouTube, Insta, Facebook and Patreon.

• High proficiency with Google Docs/Google Slides/Google Sheets/Google Workspace.

• Excellent organization and attention to detail: You can effortlessly spot great listener insights, theories, and funny commentary across multiple platforms 

• An understanding of basic social media analytics to see what our audience is engaging with most.

Show & Community Familiarity: The show has been around (with MP as a co-host or full time host) since 2018! Because our listeners are everything to us, we are ideally looking for a long-time listener who naturally speaks our language and knows the lore and funny things about the show. You should have a solid familiarity with the shows we cover (90 Day Fiancé (all of it), Bravo Housewives, Love is Blind, Love After Lockup, The Plaths, to name just a few!) and an interest in true crime documentaries to include all things culty. (we don't trust anyone who isn't into true crime)

Said simply- I need someone to coordinate the posting of reels - I need someone to post the reels and content with the correct hashtags and people tagged. I need someone to help go through the Facebook page and tell me what I need to reply to (I never see anything on Facebook and feel I miss a lot!). I also would like this person to boost our social media presence by posting daily whether it's a story or a post so we keep the interest growing in the show! MP (me) has so many ideas, but no time or skill to put them into action!
